About the Quitline

QuitNow Alabama offers FREE information to anyone interested in quitting tobacco use, or to anyone who wants more information about quitting. We offer FREE coaching, a personalized quit plan, and two weeks of free nicotine patches if you are enrolled in support services. If you have certain medical conditions, your doctor will be asked to approve the patches for you. Call us or register online for more information. We want to help you quit. Who is Eligible?

You must be a resident of Alabama to receive Quitline services. To enroll in the free coaching program, you must be willing to quit tobacco use within 30 days.

How do I enroll in QuitNow Alabama?

Complete the brief Enroll Now form. You will receive an email letting you know that you are enrolled. You can use the online service as often as you want!

If you would prefer to talk to a coach, while completing the Enroll Now form you can select a time for a coach to give you a call. If you prefer, you can call QuitNow Alabama yourself at 1-800-784-8669. If you call when we’re closed, leave a message and we’ll call you back to set up a time to talk. When you speak with your coach, we will begin your quit program, and see if you are eligible to receive the nicotine patches.
